My sweet friend Katy is married to a lovely French man and therefore is now a full-time resident of Paris. However, Katy's Alabama roots go deep, and this little southern belle needed a taste of home before welcoming her new little one (Julia Kate) into the world. To celebrate Julia Kate's impending arrival, therefore, we had a Southern Belle baby shower in her honor.

We introduced our international group of friends to many southern staples: mimosas, breakfast casserole, coffee cake, shrimp 'n grits, broccoli salad, and more...

I am truly so thankful for this group of friends... Makes being so far away from family much more survivable! Plus Katy brought me these gorgeous flowers for hosting - can't complain, right?!?!
