Despite Houston’s heat, we remain determined not to stay
cooped up inside. And our new
neighborhood offers excellent shopping, restaurants, and (best of all!) parks
within walking distance. So when Elliot
was exactly two weeks old, we decided a picnic in the park was in order.
Elliot, obviously a second child, just took it all in
stride:

With two boys, I’m learning to love the dirt and heat as much
as I can. J
